headcanon: jomo was his really first love. his gay awakening, in his very early twenties. no, it wasn't some dumb infatuation. it was true love. yeah, he was almost twenty five years older than dancing rasta and could be considered his father but he couldn't help it and fell deep for a straight as fuck, married man and father, also known as the father of shakes mokena™. imagine, shakes grieving because he lost his father and dancing rasta grieving because he lost not only a loved one but a mentor. he takes care of shakes because he looks literally like jomo. in every single body cell. he smiles and laughs like jomo did when he was alive. and shakes is a part of jomo who actually requites his feelings, even it's just a father/mentor-son relationship.
